Purchasing local, organic food that is sustainably grown is something that Albertans have always focused on. Now with shortages at grocery stores and difficulty with picking up or getting groceries delivered, it’s even more important and effective to focus on getting good fresh, from farm to table. Fresh Village Farms was created by a local mom, Rebecca, who wanted to be able to take the time to cook more often and curate healthier dishes for her family but struggled to get her groceries from large chain grocery stores amid the pandemic. Rebecca also wanted to support the local businesses around her more than ever but found that even then she was faced with challenges. 
The vision of Fresh Village Farms is to introduce our customers to products they already know are amazing and to stories that they haven’t heard yet from their local suppliers. Fresh Village Farms, is quite simply, a virtual farmers’ market for everyone and anyone to order from. All of the produce including fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and cheese will be purchased through the Fresh Village website and delivered to our customers once a week, after launch, from our retail space in East Village. This means that you can order all your fresh produce from some of the best farms we could find, and get all your fresh food needs met in one delivery.
