Coming from a culinary background with 10+ years experience in various restaurants throughout Hamilton, Green Machine owner Mike Saratsiotis wanted to bring something new to the local food truck scene. While enjoying the city’s summer festivals, he noticed that there were very few health-conscious food options among the typical festival fare.
Started in 2016, the Green Machine food truck was created with a simple menu of delicious fruit smoothies, vitamin-packed juice blends, and locally roasted iced coffee. Since then, it has evolved to offer a full catering menu with food items like fresh salads and wraps. Beginning in Fall 2020, the Fall/Winter menu of homemade soups will feature various local farms and potentially be the Green Machine’s most delicious and addictive menu yet.
