Junk in the Trunk is a Calgary business dedicated to the principle of Reuse and Recycle. We offer a Thrift store, downsizing of homes and estates, hoarder cleanouts and a junk hauling service.
We make every attempt to resell or donate usable items. If it can’t be saved, then we recycle.

Our goal is to Reuse and Recycle and keep as much out of the landfill as possible. We have a partnership with textile, electronic and metal recyclers to keep the waste stream down.
We support LOCAL charities that are mainly volunteer based. The sale of certain items in our store goes to support these charities. We also support other charities with donations of needed items such as eyeglasses, personal care, and clothing.
Our friendly and efficient staff are standing by to help you with your needs.

If you are downsizing and need items hauled away, let us have a look. If you have items that may be resold, we can deduct a percentage off the bill. We offer a wall to wall cleanout of estates, so the home is ready for resale.


Our charities of choice are:  The Scottish Rite Learning Centre, The Doorway, and other charities –  though our store is privately run, a portion of our sales goes to our charities.
