Paul:
A strong passion for teaching First Aid courses of all levels, has lead me on a path to provide everybody with a comfort level and knowledge skills to assist in any event of an emergency. I have over 20 years of First Responder experience. My knowledge and experience are assets to any company or person within the heart of the City and surrounding areas. Through the years, I have acquired many skills that range from Advanced levels of First Aid to Swift Water Rescue. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and the great outdoors
| Melody: Growing up in a family of Firefighters sparked an interest of first aid and safety. First aid and safety has always been on Melody’s mind, probably adding to some subliminal messaging, who knows. First aid plays an integral part of everyday life, and throughout Melody’s career in the food and beverage industry, times where first aid has been required has been in the plenty full. Melody is an enthusiastic trainer, who loves to incorporate many different teaching styles and practices into her classroom. As a mother of two, she has had the experience to teach different age groups. She is energetic and compassionate and tries to make learning first aid fun and exciting for all ages and abilities. She practices teaching from an inclusive and anti-oppressive modality. Over the last several years Melody has gained a strong passion for Health and Safety in the workplace. Her passion led her to pursue further education in this area. Melody is now a recent graduate from the Occupational Health and Safety program offered through Algonquin College. Although some people might find this a boring subject, Melody is captivated by this area. She has a strong passion for workplace health and safety and strongly advocates to ensure that workplace standards are met, and employees are trained according to regulations. She has a strong passion for teaching WHMIS courses. Melody believes in building a community to eliminating barriers to accessing services |
